Hi, I have recently been diagnosed with ovarian cancer stage 2 and after discussion about treatment plan, I am given the option to use cold cap and my oncologist even suggest if I like to get ice gloves/socks during treatment as well to prevent nerve damage. If having hair loss is not a big deal to me, I can only see the negative side that I will feel really cold during the whole 5-7hour treatment and there may be side effect of headache. Has anyone experience using cold cap/ice gloves/socks during their treatment and if it is worth it in terms of pain/cost/ and other factors? Thank you all and let's all fight this together.
