I listened to this on the weekend and it was a very interesting story of two people with a cancer diagnosis (along with their partners) who discuss their treatment decisions and how they made them.
From ABC Radio National:
"Two couples. Life and death decisions. Have you ever declined medical treatment or sought out alternative therapies against your doctor’s recommendation? Even if it might shorten your life? Doctors are the keepers of vital knowledge, but many of us also want to exercise our right to choose. Science Friction walks into a medical minefield, with two intimate stories of choice, love, evidence and personal agency. What would you do?".
Cancer Council NSW would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work.We would also like to pay respect to elders past and present and extend that respect to all other Aboriginal people.
