hormone therapy for uterine cancer

I got diagnosis of uterine cancer 2 wks ago and as cant have surgery have to do 3 mths hormone therapy and hope it works or its radiation. Hormone therapy is experimental and wondering if any other woman has experienced it. It feels like life is on hold and I am holding my breath.
