Hi Jennifer,  Thank you , my Surgeon and GP suggested I go on antidepressants to lift my mood, but one of the side effects was anxiety, i really don't like this feeling, but I was told the anxiety will settle and I'll feel better, I hope so as I've never felt anxiety like this before. Hi Cindi,  Sorry for the delay, I've been feeling ok, the BCG last Monday was ok, the treatment lasted 2hrs, everyday since, the pain in my bladder has been increasing slightly, but no big deal, my next treatment is tomorrow, the onc team said every week the pain intensity will increase slightly.  I'm taking antidepressants, but I'll have to wait a while for them to kick in, they're making me feel more anxious and brain fog, apparently that's normal and temporary, but really I don't like this feeling, I'll persevere though. Hi Jennifer,  Thank you very much, you and Cindi are just amazing and I'm so glad that I have met you both here, your support helps me keep going and stay focused. Yes, I'm hoping my immune system can improve with the treatment and fight all these other horrible things going on with my body. My partner helps me stay focused and calms me when I'm so down, just like the last few days when I've felt the worst in my life,  health wise and mental well being. Hi Cindi,  Thank you sooo much, I really appreciate all your support and suggestions for me, you really are amazing , you're a true friend that I'll never forget.  My GP needs me to have a multitude of tests tomorrow morning as I need to fast prior to, he said my tongue has irreversible cracking damage which is severe, he said with these new tests hopefully he will be able to get a diagnosis and treat the symptoms 🤞, the results will be a week away. Hi Cindi,  I'm glad you're feeling a bit better now, that's good. I'm just waiting till the 11th now for my first treatment.  I wish I could say that I'm good, but really I'm not, I had an allergic reaction to some medicine last week and its affected my whole body with a rash, I only took the medicine for one day when I realised there was a problem so I stopped it immediately. My GP has taken some tests for sjorgens syndrome that I may have developed over the last couple of months, i have all of the symptoms unfortunately , I get some test results back later today, if I do have it there is no cure either. My GP has said my immune system is not good right now. I just can't believe I'm going through all of this, a year ago I was very healthy and now I have all this going on including my bladder cancer, I'm just so stressed and finding it hard to sleep even with sleeping tablets. I wish I had something good to say , I'm just so miserable but my partner is so supportive and try's to lift my mood, I know I must try to stay strong. Take care. Hi Jennifer,  Thanks for your message,  thats reassuring that it's not too bad. My immune system is not that good for some reason this year, my GP is unsure what is going on with my system, I've had so many blood and urine tests which haven't indicated anything sinister apart from the bladder cancer,  I now suffer from dehydration and dry mouth syndrome which is painful all of the time, and nothing seems to help, anyway I'll keep investigating.  I've read that you're going through so much, goodness me, you are so brave and my thoughts are with you all of the time, and wish you better.  Take care, We'll talk soon, Hugs xx Richard  ... Hi Cindi, I had my appointment with the Onc this morning , I start my Induction BCG treatment on the 4th of Nov, that will be every Monday for 6 weeks, then in Jan my surgeon will have a look and see, if that's clear it will be every 3 weeks for 6 mths, with look and see every months.
