Thanks, have spoken to doctor and nurses and am following through on a couple of different things which today, for the first day in a few weeks, have actually made a difference. Such a relief. Other than that, am going not too badly. Starting to burn a bit but nothing too bad.
How are you at the moment? Are you looking into plastic surgery?

Hi guys,
Thanks to both of you. My bowel motions are actually really good but the radiation is touching on my anal area and not helping with the haeorrhoids. I've just order some active manuka honey and will give that a go. I really appreciate your feedback.
Thanks again to both.

Has anyone had any trouble with haemorrhoids during their radiation? I've tried spitz baths, cold packs and medications from the chemist but nothing works. The pain is insane and any suggestions to help would be wonderful.
Thanks.

Yep, I'm still teaching. A friend and I run a tutoring centre which is one-on-one and I love it. If you're even a little bit scared/uncomfortable and you're getting out there, you're brave and an inspiration 🙂 I'm glad we've met, even though it's in these circumstances.

Hi Silly,
A couple of years ago, one of my rams broke 1 of my front teeth in half. The concussion I could handle, but looking in the mirror at someone who was different to who I thought I was - ridiculously hard to take, even though it was only a tooth. Needless to say, I had it fixed ASAP. It sounds like you've been through hell and I imagine it would take an awfully long time, with lots of good and bad days and ups and downs along the road to recovery. Not really sure why I'm telling you about the ram and my tooth, but for me it was just a very slight glimpse into what you must have to go through every day. I too, am a teacher and know what it's like to face little kids. To me, if you're out and about, which it sounds like you are, you are a very brave woman.

Saw doc today and plan is more sunlight in mornings and slightly later bedtime each day until Monday. If no improvement then some short term sleeping tablets. Thanks for your help.

It's such a small world isn't it?!
My nightmares are very up and down. I don't see my doc for a week or so yet, but if I'm still having problems will talk to him - thanks - I hadn't thought of doing that.
Radiation is going ok. Am up to my 5th day today with only another 20 to go (4 more weeks).

Hi,
Emotionally am all over the place. Having nightmares about it returning and having leg amputated etc. Trying to stay positive but sometime just crash.
My parents and sister and her family live at Nerang, and my brother and his family across from Q1 (or something like that) right in the Gold Coast.
It must be great to have such a large family. It's so nice to hear you are happy now and your checks are only 4 monthly now.
Take care

Really glad you're ok so far. Do you need any more treatment?
I'm 52, married with a 27 year old son. Unfortunately, no grandchildren yet but something I can't wait for 🙂 The rest of my family live in QLD (I live in Tassie). They've been ringing etc.
How are your emotions now?

Hi Silly,
Thanks so much for your replies. You're right - I'm on some sort of high or something. I just can't wrap my head around it all. I think I'll try and hang in there for another week or so and if the sleep doesn't improve see my doc.
My cancer is a 'well-differentiated liposarcoma'. It was 310mm x 100mm x 65mm and I had absolutely no idea it was there which really frightened me.
Are you going to be ok? What has happened so far - have you had any of the tumors out etc? Sorry if these are too many questions. I'm new to this world and don't know if there's an etiquette etc. Feel free
to PM any time.
Thanks again.
