Hi Silly, A couple of years ago, one of my rams broke 1 of my front teeth in half. The concussion I could handle, but looking in the mirror at someone who was different to who I thought I was - ridiculously hard to take, even though it was only a tooth. Needless to say, I had it fixed ASAP. It sounds like you've been through hell and I imagine it would take an awfully long time, with lots of good and bad days and ups and downs along the road to recovery. Not really sure why I'm telling you about the ram and my tooth, but for me it was just a very slight glimpse into what you must have to go through every day. Hi Silly, Thanks so much for your replies. You're right - I'm on some sort of high or something. I just can't wrap my head around it all. I think I'll try and hang in there for another week or so and if the sleep doesn't improve see my doc. My cancer is a 'well-differentiated liposarcoma'. It was 310mm x 100mm x 65mm and I had absolutely no idea it was there which really frightened me. Are you going to be ok? What has happened so far - have you had any of the tumors out etc?
