When someones stared at Tommy while we were out one day, I said 'quick honey, move, I think she is eyeing off your stash' another time we got strange looks he whispered something about being visited by aliens, and yet another time I said to him, 'did you just go?' I know, you're all thinking about that saying, small things amuse small minds. hehe. I said to one of the nurses at onc clinic, is that all you got here? Over at the other clinic they have Chanel. Thank you Julie and Samex xx Have a running status commentary on fb for Pabs Place and my daughter is now making a bigpond blog (OMG I will have a brain melt), but I should just copy and paste and make it easier. Been on phone/computer to ato today to register Pabs as a charity, will take 28 days but am making little baby steps everyday. Good for me to not take everything in leaps and bounds for a change haha. i have wwritten to gaia for some advice. Just waiting for on a reply, McGrath Foundation said try googling and wished me luck. I got a sponsorship that incorporates my business promoting Pabs as that was how they could do it so everyone benefitted. I will definately write to Quest for life as well Phew!! wow,Clo. Read through all the information you can handle in the various sections of the forums. There are loads and loads of bits and pieces to help, that people have posted along their own journeys. Also you can never go past the Cancer Council Website or helpline. There is always someone or something to help you in whatever you come up against. As a carer finding time for yourself is just as important as caring for your Mum so make this a part of the things you NEED to do not would LIKE to do. And visit us all here as often as yo need to. There is always someone who is feeling or has felt as you feel at any given time and you will be surprised how much that helps sometimes. Sounds like you have a lot on your plate!! Well remember Esther you can always reach out to us. We are here and all experiencing various stages of the cancer journey so someone is bound to have advice and comfort for what you are going through. I found my friends more comforting than my family. I think maybe because they were not as close to the situation and could take a step back and just offer support, where our families had to much of their own hurt in the way.
