Hi @Jennifer66 , Firstly I'm super glad you're starting to get on the mend, now, the bladder cuff, I'm not completely sure but maybe it's the surrounds of where the ureter connected to bladder? I'm not sure I just know he said the right kidney, ureter and bladder cuff was removed and the cuff had no sign of cancer. Maybe you could ask your specialist, they speak a lot of stuff that's foreign to me with their weird wording. But on a report I'm looking at now, it says: Tumour Location: Proximal third of ureter. Tumour type: Invasive High- Grade urothelial carcinoma grade 3 Urothelial carcinoma in situ Invasion: Present Level: Periureteric fat Measurement: 2.5 mm.mm. Lymphovascular Invasion: present ( multifocal ) Margins: Distal ureter & bladder cuff: Not involved Rest of ureter/pelvis: chronic inflammation and oedema Rest of kidney: changes secondary to obstruction LYMPH NODES : NOT INVOLVED ( 0/8)  ( this sounds good I think ) Pathological Stage ( AJCC 8th Ed. ) pT: pT3 Right Kidney & Ureter: Invasive high-grade urothelial Multiple Foci of Lymphovascular Invasion Invades through through the lamina propria to involve the adjacent muscle.. The bladder cuff resection margin is clear of tumour. The hilar vascular structures show no evidence of malignancy and the resection margins are clear or tumour. 2 lymph nodes are present in the periureteric fat, showing no evidence of malignancy. Hi @Jennifer66 , That's horrible for you being so sick with that cough, hope those antibiotics work soon? you poor thing, I hate getting a bad cough, you probably feel quite knocked about, and super tired. Try to hang in there , try to rest if you can and I hope your surgery can take place. I had Robotic surgery to remove kidney, ureter & bladder cuff, it's amazing how advanced things have got isn't it, I look at the small line under my tummy hole where kidney came out, amazing!!!! Hi @greg57 , Glad to hear you're going to get out! sounds good. I'm feeling quite a lot better today, but wont be lying in the sun as the chemo makes you burn badly. Hi @greg57 , How are you going now? has the pain got better? what's happened? Ive been not so good and had to go to hospital again but ok now just tired. I will be continuing with chemo next week if blood tests allow.( fingers crossed) Anyway  such a beautiful day here in Sydney, hope you have been able to get out and about a bit, even just a walk, I like days like this. @Richard56  Wow, Richard, thank you for such kind words, and so glad you feeling not so bad. Unfortunately I'm quite drained as I had to go to hospital again, had to go in Tuesday night because of symptoms again of infection, couldn't wee hardly at all, even though I'd had more than 2 liters of water that day, they were again worried about my kidney & evidently my liver due to the chemo, I was at least rushed through emergency , not like last time when I had to wait ages, so up to a room on my own due to low immune system, so that was good. they were very good to me. Strong Antibiotics again for a couple of days & nights, & now antibiotics at home, & now much better but so, so tired. I was so upset that they may cancel my chemo, but thank goodness I'm only missing this weeks and can have it next week if bloods ok, so fingers crossed🙂 Other than that it's a beautiful day today, love watching the trees & birds from my balcony. @greg57, We've all got our battles haven't we, so glad we've all met up on this site as it's good to talk. I can understand that your symptoms are a worry, I don't blame you, it's all so unknown and scary , and OF COURSE you can complain, it's all horrible and you are going through a lot too, don't worry about me, I just feel better complaining on here!! 😂 I'll get through OK and I just hope you can too. But if your symptoms get worse if I was you I'd give the nurses a call, discuss it with them, they'll know what to do and help you. At least the Centrelink has come through for you, it seems they try to make it as difficult as possible to deter people or something, not fair for people who are really sick.  So glad it's eased your stress a little. Summers nearly here, the waters warming up, I'm hoping and praying you will be well enough to at least get in there again in the near future.
