I am begining treatment for stage 4 bowel cancer using Keytruda in 10 days and I was wondering (and hoping) if anyone had also had this treatment and how you may have responded or any side effects I would love to know. I'm a 38F mum and wife how was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer in July 2023. Since then I have struggled with a rollercoaster of complications, emergency surgery and a illiostomy bag. I am struggling with my mental and physical health since then and am not really sure what to do anymore. My oncologist has continued to put off my immunotherapy treatment in case it causes more harm than good, I can't have my bowel resected until the cancer has been treated which is annoying to say the least and I'm still to physically weak to return to work.
