Thanks for your reply. Hope things go well on Thursday. There wasn't any more spotting, so all is good. I go for radiation appt on Fri to get the 'mold' made and then wills start radiation in about 7-10 days. Sorry you have to go thru more surgery soon. Hope it won't be as painful this time. Mine was painful due to the lymph nodes taken out. Take care.

Hi Cheryl, I haven't started the Aromatase Inhibitor yet, but my Oncologist prescribed Letrozole for me. I had a lumpectomy and will start radiation in about 2 weeks and after that will start the pills. I suffered many years from anxiety and depression so know how that feels. Hope it gets better for you.

Hi, I felt worried too. I had the lumpectomy and SLNB on Feb 28, 2024. The lymph nodes were clear and the cancer was a Stage 1. I go for radiation in about 2 weeks and then take an AI for 5 years. I was also diagnosed with endometrial cancer in Dec 2023 and had a full hysterectomy on Feb 5, 2024 to remove the cancer. I started wondering if I needed a full body scan. After the lumpectomy, I met with a Breast Oncologist who was brilliant, and kind and she assured me I didn't need the scan. She was recommended by other medical personnel. What helped me was finding Drs that I felt comfortable with and trusted. But I totally get the worry, I am worrying now as I started spotting again and I'm 9 weeks post hysterectomy, so am going to see the surgeon on Thursday. I read on this forum that the worry seems to lessen when the follow up scans/visits show 'normal' results. So it sounds like good follow up results and time help. Ugh. Not sure I helped myself by writing that. I just want this to be done and not have to worry ever again about getting cancer. But I don't have the option anymore. There is no way I can turn off my emotions as I feel and think deeply. It's nice to have a forum to be able to connect with others and know I am not alone. Hope you get some good results soon. Sending you a virtual hug.

Thank you so much for your post. I know the post is years old, but I can so relate as I feel that same way. I was diagnosed in Dec 2023 and just had the lumpectomy and will be starting radiation soon. I hope you are doing well.

Hi, I was diagnosed in Dec 2023. I had a lumpectomy and SLNB on Feb 28 and the lymph nodes were clear. The treatment they recommended for me was radiation to the site (not the whole breast) and an aromatase inhibitor (daily pill) for 5 yrs. Wishing you the best and hope you are feeling ok.

Hi, I know how that feels and I can relate. I was diagnosed with endometrial and breast cancer within the last 3 weeks. I kind of feel like I’ve been hit by a truck. I’m sorry for anyone that has to go thru this. I too go in and out and am stunned when I realize I have cancer. Best to you.
