Hi Paterik, this is my first time on here and I see that this your post is from 2010 so a long time ago. I’m in the exact same position as you were. We’ve been recommended that my mum have her bladder and possibly rectum removed and we are completely daunted about the surgery and what life would look like. We’re seriously considering not doing it. I’d love to know what you ended up doing. Any advice you could give would be so appreciated.
