Hi I was diagnosed with lung cancer 2.5 weeks ago after going back to the doctor  when anti biotics  steroids and asthma  meds dis not clear up a cough.  I took myself  to emergency when  a ct scan  suspected  a blood clot on the lung and discovered ihad a 4cm mass on my right lung.  Lucky  they kept me in hospital  and did several scans a pet scan an an mri of the brain  Thankfully  as far as they  can tell it has not spread but it has gone to lymph  nodes within  the lung. I only had the biopsy  3 days ago so find out the stage in 3 more days! Absolute agony I know. Try not to worry too much only a couple  of weeks.  You could always go to emergency  and tell them your struggling to breathe  and the diagnosis.  They may do more tests to ease your  mind.
