Hi Richard, Thank you for your kind words. We're still very much in the shock and uncertainty phase at the moment, so one day at a time is definitely the approach we're trying to take. Hi all, I am a first time poster. My wonderful partner, 48, was told he likely has myeloma this week. He will have a bone marrow biopsy later this month, which is when we will know for sure. We have a 13-month-old son. My partner feels physically well and this was only detected because his mum and I encouraged to get a blood test because he has a family history (father) of bowel cancer. My partner is a very pragmatic person, and is very positive. However, a month ago he suddenly lost his job and last week I started a new full time job, my first job since having our son. I feel like I am crumbling under a wave of grief, shock and anger, but I am trying my best to not show this too much to my partner and adopt his positive mindset. I guess I don’t have any real questions, I am just hoping to connect with others who are walking the journey of cancer. Thanks, Margot
