Hi Robbie, because the nerve was removed during OP we don't feel pain. I am regaining feel under arm and side chest 6 weeks after mastectomy now. The dressing will come off natuarlly abour 5 weeks time. Good luck with the result meeting, keep me posted. Cheers

Hi Robbie, hope you are not in pain now. I've been through that a few weeks ago. the scar and pain after mstaectomy is nothing compared to the whole journey we are going to face. what kind of chemo your doc discussed with you. I am going to my 2nd chemo today. wasn't bad as I expected so far. Have a nice day.

Hi Alli, thanks for reply. congrats to get over with the chemo finally. something needs to be celebrated today. I am going to my 2nd chemo today. My hair just started to fall off yesterday. I recovered pretty well after mastecomy. Alli, are you sure you want reconstruction right away, good to allow sometime to let the body recover. I heard that reconstruction operation takes about 8 hours seems more complex than mastecomy.

I am 34 yr old, was diganosed early breast cancer on 04/01/2011.
Never believed horoscope, but when flip through "women's days 2011 horoscope" a few days ago, saw the line"on the 4th Jan eclipse, something will trig you to seriously think about your health" I am Leo. SPOOKY... i had mastectomy done a few days ago. Surprisingly I haven't felt any pain at all since the operation, amazing..

Recently I had mastectomy done. Before step into chemo I would consider to freeze embroys to reserve the option to have another child later on (I have one 2yo already). I am at my early thirties.
Has anyone been through same, success or unsuccess story to share.
