Hi my name is Di and recently diagnosed with my second cancer. Three years ago at the age of 45, i was diagnosed stage 3 bowel cancer and two weeks ago found a mass in my pelvis with my yearly ct scan. what a two weeks it has been, now home from hospital after a complete hysterectomy and removal of a 12cm tumour on my ovary which I have been told is stage 1 ovarian cancer. The doctors say these two cancers are totally unrelated. How does that happen. My head is still spinning. In one sense I am lucky I was having scans, but just feel like, here we go again.
