Kidney Cancer

Hi everyone, Feb 26, I was diagnosed with Kidney Cancer. I had my right Kidney removed on the 29th of last month. I have been recouping for the past 5 weeks,very sore and sorry for myself. I had my checkup with my surgeon yesterday. The cancer was a stage 3 and the tumor was a stage 1, he said they got all the cancer with the kidney and no other sign of cancer anywhere else. I have to say it was the best news ever...No chemo or radiation needed either....So, I don know if this classes me as a survivor yet, I would like to hear from anyone else who has had Kidney Cancer..I have so many questions..I have been told that i will need scans and blood tests every 3 months for the next five years..... Thanks 0821abroad.. I have been given the all clear for now. The Cancer was a stage 3..but they have seem to removed it all with the removal of the Kidney. I have to say it was the best new EVER....now for scans every 3 months..... I am so lucky they caught it early. I look around and hear so many stories of people that didn't.....Very upsetting ... Hi everyone, My name is Chenzo (Vince)..I am 39..I just recently got diagnosed with kidney Cancer.4 weeks ago had a full Nephrectomy on my right kidney. I have been told that they removed all cancer with the removal. I would like to hear from others who have had a similar procedure...I have tons of questions.
