Hi Kellie Thanks for the interesting read and very sorry to read about your Dad! I think I was a classed as a young adult with my first cancer (being 30?) and you are right there is not a lot out there for young survivors nor older ones really. Although I guess that statement depends on what cancer you get. I have no idea what makes some people survive and others not and I guess the onco's don't really know either or else someone would have tapped into that one well and truly! I remember with my first cancer feeling immensely powerful at times and almost invincible as you have described. I found that settled over time though and life pretty much got back to normal and I hardly think about that first cancer these days. My first daignosis was 25 years ago ... wow!
