Thanks Budgie. I appreciate you taking the time to write to me. I'm not sure I'm brave enough to tackle funeral plans just now but I understand your logic. At the moment I'm just getting through one day at a time, tackling one new side effect at a time and hoping for better days ahead. Hi Everyone, I'm new here but sadly not new to cancer. Eight years ago I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer (aggressive invasive ductal carcinoma). After 2 surgeries, chemo and radiation therapy I thought I'd beaten it. Two months ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in my bones and liver. I'm 50 years old and am struggling with what it means to have terminal cancer.  I have a 16 year old son living at home and a 1 year old grand daughter thanks to my oldest step son.
