I have found it easier to cope by having Aromatouch Technique, it is one of the most enjoyable massages I have ever had , very relaxing, most massages i find they hurt me some how and I just don't relax or i get cramps. Hi DapneRose, I have had similar problems, I was introduced to the low FODMAP diet and it has helped so much, i have been able to add back a lot of foods, i also have been using essential oils and having great success. I was at the stage where the doctors go, well we have done everything now it is up to your body to heal. Easyer said than done, you just get over one thing and you get another bug. If you use oils you need therapudic grade, it has made coping a lot easier.

I saw my specialist today, he is sending me to another specialist at Peter Mac, for a needle biobsy, it will be done next Tuesday or in two weeks time as we are going to QLD next week for ten days , still waiting waiting

HI Loralee, sorry to hear about your waiting game, it horriable.
You would not believe I am going through the same thing at the moment, went to the doctors the other day,I have been having reaccourant infections in a gland in the neck, I had a ultrasound and there are three enlarged lympnodes in my jaw on the left side,they were there a few months ago but they have got bigger.
I am now waiting to see a specialist, a new one a head and neck surgon, what next??? waiting waiting, I hate that fact I have a different specialist for everything, it would be so much easier if I was handled by one specialist.

Hi Amanda, I would shop around for another doctor, I have more than one, one I have to wait to see one I get scripts off at a moments notice who also bulk bills, bonus !! I could not do it if I didn't have more than one, also if one of them goes away on holiday you are still alright let me know how you get on.
Also on the oroxine I don't know why we have to have a script it is silly.

Hi Samex, we do all live with the fear of reoccurance it is a day to day thing,
I find it especically hard when I get sick all the fears come to the surface.
The thing is to not be afraid to go to the doctors , and get all the test you need.

my heart goes out to all of you , such sad stories Amanda and Sham your parents and MIL are so missing out on all the good things with the children,and the family unbelieveable. Sally, what can I say OMG!!!!!!! what is going threw these peoples minds, I am speechless I cannot beleive a grandparent could do that.You just stay strong for you and the children, I do think it is something to do with that era my MIL we would be lucky to see once a year, we will here from her for birthdays but that is it, I feel so sad for my daughter to up until this year she had never stayed at their place,or been asked, and they don't take an intrest in anything she does. Lucky for her she has my mum and dad who are a later model in there 80s the others are in there 60, she has two grand parents who have been there at every milestone in her life, ready to cheer her on, we speek every day they are the most unselfish people in the world and the most caring, I cannot say enoungh about them, all the time I was sick mum and dad were there ready to help, or drive me to an appointment nothing was too much. I feel the same way girls, all my money on doctors and antibiotics, if it is not one infection it is another, it is odd though, all three of us had had thyroid cancer, do other people with different cancers have similar problems. I have found , as I had this 20yesrs ago, and again now it takes about 2years for the body to start to get back to normal, and I found it was best to get as fit as you can when you can, as it makes it easier.
