There was a control group who were healthy and 86 lung and breast cancer patients. The dogs' accuracy levels ranged from 88% to 97%.I n other studies two German Shepherds,an Australian Shepherd and a Labrador correctly sniffed out lung cancer in 71% of 220 patients.Dogs have also been able to detect colon cancer.
