Living with an angel

How quickly things can change, how life can change. My beautiful Stephen, he used to love going for walks on the beach with our lovely dog Sadie, now after only a few months of being sick with pancreatic cancer he can't, he falls asleep a lot now. He used to go the shops for groceries, now he can't he gets too tired, he used to do the mowing, he can't now he is too weak, he used to go to bunnings his favourite shops to get vegies and seeds to grow in the beautiful vegetable garden he has made and we was all proud of him with this now he can't he hasn't got the energy. How quick things change. How sad for the man who was so independent. He now can't even drive anymore. How quick life changes. How much we take for granted the things we can do each day.

Sad to read that Stephen has lost his independence and that pancreatic cancer is advancing on his body.

I understand how you feel. I too have pancreatic cancer, and my husband has become my carer, as well as working long hours and doing all the house work and gardening.

I think my husband is an angel on earth, and you are one as well, for standing by your husband  and supporting him.
