Re: How are you doing?

Thanks @Lindsay & @Katekat,

All done & dusted. I was actually first on the list, surprise surprise. Everything went well apparently, & I get the patch off tomorrow.
Hubby called the hospital this afternoon to see if his surgery is still going ahead - his answer was that they still don't know & just to assume it is, unless he hears otherwise. He is to be admitted Wednesday arvo for surgery on Thursday. Midnight Wednesday is when they're suspending most elective surgeries, so we just have to wait & see.
Good luck with your liver clinic appt on Wednesday. Do you mind if I ask what's happening with you?

Budgie

Re: How are you doing?

Thanks for the heads up Budgie. I’m pleased all went well today, you’ll need to get in to have your right eye done. Brand new you.

Fingers crossed for your partner Wednesday. I hope that’s a success too.

I don’t mind you asking about the clinic.

I was told that the tumour on my pancreas has spread and grown. I had scans last Wednesday & Thursday as a check on my secondary cancer in the liver. This coming Wednesday is a meeting with the liver specialist to go over those scans & blood tests. All will be OK I’m sure.

I’ll post a report on the result.

Thanks for asking, Great news for you today, let’s double it up on Thursday, for your partner.

Re: How are you doing?

Terrific kJ, it’s great to see & hear of normality out there.

I hope you & the gang can hit the road together really soon. At the moment, we need to be a little careful thought.

As Australians, were not accustomed to being told when and where we can go, not to mention who with.

Oh well, just another challenge I guess. Not a big price to pay.

Stay healthy, you and your wife.

Cheers.....Lindsay

Re: How are you doing?

Oh thank goodness @Budgie 🤗

You were on my mind a lot yesterday, so I am glad you got in and got it done! Fingers crossed hubby gets the ok for his too. My Mum had a full knee reconstruction a few weeks ago here in Sydney, so I'm glad she got hers done as she was in a world of pain. Now she's just worried about rehab being closed on her.

@kj - good work on getting the car repairs/changes out of the way!! Let us know how the results go tomorrow 😊

@Lindsay - hope your liver clinic goes well tomorrow 😊

Here's a photo of my two, who are home, playing Monopoly the other day to cheer you up!

Have a great day!
