Hi there
My mum has had ovarian cancer for 5 years - this spread to her spleen, bowel and lungs.
Despite this, it has been very stable.
But we have been thrown a curve ball and told she now also has Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.
She has to have a lymph node biopsy next week to find out more but it seems like diffuse large B cell lymphoma.
She has gone downhill so quickly and I am really unsure what this means and it is hard waiting another week. I don't know if her death is going to be imminent or whether I should be with her every day.
I am moving down there next week to be closer, but do not want to leave it too late.
Does anyone have any experience of the multiple cancers and these two cancers? Does anyone know the likely outcome?
I have been trying to do some online research, but cannot find much about primary ovarian cancer and primary lymphoma - if you have any good articles or something, I would also love to read them!
Thank you so much in advance!
Hi, I can only suggest that you ring the cancer support line to ask your questions. I had non Hodgkin’s lymphoma last year but none of the others your mum has. It was treated with RCHOP chemo and so far had been successful 🙏. It’s good you are moving closer to your mum now. So sorry about another cancer on top of all the other ones she has🙏💕 Linda G
Thank you so much for your reply. I really appreciate it. I am glad you are going well too. That is wonderful 🙂
