Reaching out

Hi there -
I lost my beautiful partner 3 months ago after a quick and cruel battle with brain cancer. He was 32. I am 30 and cared for him at home until the final week.
I am based in Sydney and I am seeking community, a grief community in Sydney or maybe a new mate who has walked a similar path. I know we all feel the isolation.
If you were a young carer and looking for similar support please reach out xx

Re: Reaching out

Sorry to hear. I lost my dad to cancer nearly 6 years ago. They say grief is the last part of loving someone. It's the bond that continues after death. His cancer went to his brain in the end too. One thing I learnt is not to expect too much of yourself. It will take time to heal.
