Bladder Cancer

Hi Everyone

Just wanna say hello and touch base, just been diagnosed 03/02/25. Had TURBT & 2 stents, awaiting neoadjuvant chemo to start.

Kinda going thru the motion's with trying to absorb everything as a cancer patient. Got Information Overload, Appts, confusion, highs n lows, wanting to reject all treatment & suggestions of full bladder removal/operation/procedures, having to lose weight & abjust to low carb diet and Trying to stay off Dr Google 😬

So glad to be a part of Forum, its early days but so relieved to have a place to come, to debrief & feel supported.

We the People, Rock da House ❤️🔥

Hi Bonny101.  Hello and thank you for joining and posting here. This forum is a wonderful space and hopefully you will find care and support from others who share their experience.  You may also find it helpful to search Cancer Council NSW's  website or to call Cancer Council's 13 11 20 line for information on dietary options. They can also talk with you about the range of services available to support you.   Kind regards ... Joseph_CCNSW

Re: Bladder Cancer

Hi @Bonny101 ,

How are you going? Not sure if you look at this forum any longer as I see you posted a month ago.

I just wanted to give you a bit of support as Ive also had Bladder Cancer although I had different treatment, I had to have chemo which finished a few months back.

It seemed to be a success, I hope.

I will be having a ct scan soon to check if there's any cancer back.

There used to be a few of us on here with bladder cancer but haven't heard from anyone for a while, so not sure if they still get on here.

How are you feeling? are you ok?

Hope you will fight this and win the battle, amazing what they can now do to help people with cancer now a days, so try to be positive.

Sending you a big hug,

Cindi x
