lung cancer

i have recently been diagnosed with lung cancer and am awaiting necessary tests pet scan/biopsy etc.. in the last two days i have began to cough up blood in my sputum, is this usual or unusual and should i take any action medically your comments would be appreciated regards Mike

If you've seen blood, I'd definitely contact your doctor/oncology team and double check if you have not done so already.

Thanks for your messge Kata, having pet scan/biopsy tomorrow, rang my doctor who is aware of it so should know more next week thanks for your interest... Mike

Im glad your medical team is aware as it is one of many things that they need to know asap. 

I have sslc extensive and my petscan lit up like a Christmas tree. It was appropriate as it was Christmas, I hope and pray yours is just a few highlights . Here if you need to chat anytime
