All spare cash on doctors

I thought I would put the question out there and see who else spends all of their money on medical these days. Since I have had treatement I find I get sick (never used to), have worse allergies and generally spend every last spare cent on seeing doctors, specialists and having scans. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi Amanda, Yep, im with you !!!! My husband used to joke that i see the doctor and my specialists more than him, I find it hard especially as i never ever got sick and now im never ever well, I always seem to be thinking about my life before all of this ever happened and it really frustrates me as i was always on the go and now all i want to do is sleep, Things can only get better... i hope!!

Yeah my husband and I joke about it, he actually had chemo and I had the RAI. He gets sick less often than I do and he is 1 year post treatment and I am 3 years...something in that I think!

Re: All spare cash on doctors

I feel the same way girls, all my money on doctors and antibiotics, if it is not one infection it is another, it is odd though, all three of us had had thyroid cancer, do other people with different cancers have similar problems. I have found , as I had this 20yesrs ago, and again now it takes about 2years for the body to start to get back to normal, and I found it was best to get as fit as you can when you can, as it makes it easier. This time I am at the 1.5 it is not 2years until march next year, that was when I had the last dose of RI
