Your healthy wellbeing

Each and every one of us is unique, with differing levels of challenges due to health as well as lifestyles and goals. And there is no blanket approach that will work for everyone when it comes to achieving good nutrition.

What we can do, is take it one step at a time, and build up towards better health.

Research has shown that exercise has many benefits, during and after your cancer treatment. It can speed up your recovery, assist with side effects, and improve your quality life. And if you're caring for someone with cancer, it's a great way for you to improve your physical and mental wellbeing as well!

How can we help?

  • A free face-to-face exercise and nutrition program. Our ENRICH program introduces survivors and carers physical activity, healthy eating as well as practical information to help adjust to life after treatment.
  • A free phone-based exercise and nutrition program. Our Healthy Living After Cancer program links survivors with health professionals and coaching over the telephone. They will help you get active, and learn how to eat better so you feel better as well.
  • Cancer Council ACT offer a free Living Well After Cancer Program. This is a 2.5 hour program, designed for cancer survivors, carers, family, friends and work colleagues.
  • Exercising during Cancer treatment. Learn more about the benefits of exercise and how best to safely exercise during your treatment.
  • Help finding an accredited exercise professional. Exercise physiologists and physiotherapists use exercise in helping to manage injury and chronic diseases, including assisting people with cancer.
  • Questions to ask your doctor about exercise and cancer.

We also have a range of exercise videos that are suitable for a range of abilities.
