Hey Cindi, how are you going, just at home today trying to stay cool its so hot again today. How was your weekend, did you get up to anything exciting? I got myself a little inflatable pool on Saturday, its not that little actually, i can fully lay down in it as its 8 ft long. Best thing ever. Just put chlorine in a float and keep it covered with a tarp. Its heaven on a day like this. Did you get the big storm yesterday? I love a bit of wild weather, i think its exciting. Being at home and not working gets a bit monotonous some times, so any thing that breaks the boredom is fine by me. Hope youre feeling well, have you managed to get to the gym yet? Yes so hot isn't it, it actually knocks me around a lot at the moment, not feeling the best, the chemo seems to have a slow build now, but I've always got to push myself because things don't just get done by themselves.

I went out earlier to get bloods done for my Breast Cancer Oncologist who I have an appointment next week, didn't like going in the heat, but when I got there.... found out I was meant to be fasting 🙄🙄

I've definitely got "chemo brain" 😆 I'll go tomorrow morning.

Also trying to help out my son with stuff, and builder always has questions, my husband seems to forget everything, I'm sure its from stress about me.So I have to take that on.

Thank goodness I wont be having more chemo for the time being, but I do feel exhausted by the end of the day.

I love that idea of the inflatable pool, going to get one as soon as we get back into our house as no yard here in unit of course. Sounds wonderful .

I do actually like the storms when at our house , going out onto back veranda & watching it all is fun, we've planted in our backyard so many tropical trees its magical, I feel like up up at the Daintree !

It's weird weather at the moment isn't it, don't like the humidity much. Guess it's better than freezing.

At least next week Monday & Tuesday looks like it'll be in lower 20's instead of 30's.

No, no gym.. maybe tomorrow if I have enough energy, after bloods. I'd love to go, I really miss it.

Hope you're ok, I've been awol lately as so much taking up my life and energy, but want you to know I had my LAST CHEMO recently!! so I'm very pleased about that, but will take a while to feel more like "me".

Yesterday went to my gym and pushed myself ( as still quite tired and weak) but so glad I did 🙂

Will go again on weekend.

Hi Cindi, great news about your chemo, and great to hear youre back in the gym. Some beautiful weather too, ive been enjoying the pool. Ive been going ok, have my good and bad days. Been struggling with a bad lower back the last few weeks, its an old problem but it really gets me down sometimes. Christmas is sneaking up on us, have you got your shopping sorted? Do you go away anywhere over the break? Im going down the coast to Windang again in February, i cant wait. 10 days out of Sydney will do me good. Anyway, take care, talk again soon, Greg xx

YES!! getting out of Sydney would be sooooooo wonderful, it's too full now, hard to get anywhere, not at all like when I was growing up! I can still remember my dad taking us all on "Sunday drives" it was hardly any traffic and idealic ❣️

Now a days, it's just one big traffic jam 😞

I'd so love to get out into some lovely forest trails checking out the peace and melodic  bird call and check out the wildlife. So peaceful.

I've always wanted to go to Tasmania, it's meant to be beautiful there....one day....

and of course the Daintree, love it there, & up in Cape Tribulation the stars at night are amazing!

Anyway, back to reality, no I'm not going away, just see family but probably not for too long as I can't kick this overwhelming tiredness.

I've done most of my Xmas shopping on line, so no battling the crowds. What about you?

Sometimes a massage can help the back, or taking Voltarin ( from chemist) helps too ( but not on an empty tummy)

Hello my dear friend, hope youre going well. Hows this weather, its actually too hot. Getting no relief from my little pool, its nice and cool up until around 10 in the morning then once the sun takes hold it turns into a hot bath lol. Oh well, hopefully we get that cool change later on. I really messed up on the weekend. Ive been really up and down emotionally lately, still coming to terms with my diagnosis and how my life has changed because of it. Well i made the poor decision to get on the beers, and now im suffering as i my liver has become painful and swollen. im really angry at myself as i have been so good for 3 months. Just hoping it all calms down again if i look after it. I wouldnt dare tell my doctor. Anyway its done now, have to move on. Are you enjoying the break from chemo Cindi, bet youre enjoying the gym. You might have a bit more normality in your life. Anyway, take care, G xox

Hello @greg57 , Oh no, I hope your liver forgives you, make sure you drink plenty of fluids ( not alcohol !)

The liver is a wonderful organ and can heal itself so don't beat yourself up too much, just try to keep away from the bears.

Yes today is dreadfully hot and I'm not feeling good as I've contracted covid😯

My husband came home with it and kindly passed it onto me.

So I'm now on antivirals and having to monitor my oxygen levels, it's not nice, so no gym for me.

So everything's not that good for me at the moment and just hope I don't have to go back into hospital. I'm really sick of being sick, but all on here would be feeling the same, we all just have to fight through it.
