SECONDARY CANCER LEPTOMENINGEAL CARCINOMATOSIS

I  have been diagnosed with primary lung cancer with the secondary affecting the nerve endings in the Lining of my brain and my lower back.  I was wondering if there is anyone else out there who has similar or same symptoms. I am struggling with walking and dizziness ( I have also lost my hearing in my left ear and only have about 30% in my right) . Are things going to improve!!!!!

Good afternoon @Kylie64 and welcome to the community,

I am glad you found us!

Those symptoms don't sound very good, have you discussed them with your oncologist or treating team at all? Can I ask what treatment you are undergoing at the moment too?

Re: SECONDARY CANCER LEPTOMENINGEAL CARCINOMATOSIS

Hi Kate

I have discussed with my oncologist and am hoping that it will settle once I am off steroids. I am also having an appointment regarding cochlear implant next week. At the moment I am on immunotherapy after initial 4 x chemotherapy as last MRI was good
