Speechless

Hello,

 

I had a Total Larengectomy in December 2020. This entails the surgical removal of the Voice Box.

 

In May 2021, I had a Voice Prosthesis installed in Day Surgery. Having a few hassles getting to speak, but am getting good support from the RNSH Speech Pathology Team.

Great to hear.  How is your speech going now?

I guess it takes a bit of getting used to.

How is your health otherwise? How is your outlook? Was the surgery successful?
