Still no answers still in the dark

Good morning everyone. Well after my last thread I've really had NO luck, what I mean is, I tried to book an appointment to see the specialist I was seeing and after explaining the situation to the receptionist she said she'd try to help and she would speak with the specialist on my behalf (God bless her) this act of kindness really uplifted me because prior to this there was a brick wall after brick wall. The receptionist calls me back to somber news that he the specialist couldn't do much, then says that I don't need to make an appointment to see him! This guy for real 😠

I then called cancer council to speak to someone cause I felt I was losing it and thx God for these beautiful ppl they helped alot anyways she gave me the contact number to Liverpool Hospitals Patient Liaison Officer who I contacted and explained everything to, she said she would get back to me and that she would email the specialist as well. I'm still waiting for her call so I thought I'd be proactive and call her as well as call admissions, both straight to voice mail.

Im seeing a new GP tomorrow because my regular GP is sorry to say useless and im needing fresh eyes on my case. I'm hoping I can finally get steered the right way rather than hitting icebergs all the time.

For those who have been in a similar situation would I have to get scans done again to determine if this cancer on my kidney has grown? Its been 5 months since my last scans! Ive had a biopsy done as well as CT scans. How does it all work? I'm asking these questions because no one has explained anything to me NOT FROM THE HOSPITAL OR SPECIALIST I swear this is messing with my head so much...

Hi, I always hope you’ll have some good news every time you post! And you’re still waiting!!  I’m glad you’re seeing a new doctor, who hopefully will be able to get some answers for you. I still can’t believe you have kidney cancer and this delay is happening! It’s unbelievable 🤦🏻‍♀️    I continue to pray for a resolution for you. 🙏💕 LindaG
