I read Lances book when i first got diagnosed (i skipped straight to reading about chemo because i was curious and was about to start). I could relate to him because I was a distance runner so it helped me liken it to running. The most helpful book i've read so far!

Hi Emily, I know exactly what you are talking about. I guess people our age dont want things to stop them from having fun so they tend to forget about us who aren't having much fun.
I am only at the start (diagnosed about 4 months ago) and already have experienced some friendship losses. Some will stay and they are the ones who matter.

I have Ewings sarcoma in my sacrum, which is the back of my pelvic bone. Have started chemo and it has started shrinking!!!
