I have found messenger a useful and private way to communicate one on one with other people I have found on this and other sites.
If you are like me and don't find there is specifically a group here for you (the advanced group Kate was referring to is actually called the Ongoing group), then have a look around at other sites.Hope everyone finds the support they need as you deserve it.

Hi Maggie,
I am in the same position as you and there is not really support on this website for people with a terminal diagnosis.I think it's shocking and myself and others have tried to get something done, but just get fobbed off.If you want to private message me, we can arrange to chat as we really need to support each other.

Hi Neil,
Sorry another one has to deal with this.It sucks! I've had chemo and am now on Iressa, which is an oral targeted therapy as I tested positive for the mutation in a biopsy.Still waiting to see if it is working any wonders for me. Hi Belinda,
I also have stage 4 cancer and know how terrified you must feel.It can be really hard talking to friends and family.I don't need people telling me how I should feel and to stay positive, that's why I came to this site, looking for others in the same circumstance who understand.The emotions are overwhelming.Belinda, you are too young to have this and I just want you to know that we care.Hoping your procedure goes well for you and please private message me if you want to chat.

Hi and thanks for your replies.I did email a clinic in Germany to ask about this for my type of cancer.They were keen to tell me that they had treated over 20 000 patients but would not reply when asked about evidence based success. I tend to agree that it would be widely used by now if proven effective.

Has anyone heard of any success with the use of hyperthermia for treating cancer patients? I believe they have clinics in Germany.
