Groenevelt68... Very Well said....my thoughts exactly, you described the pain and anguish to a tee. Yes it does get easier with time...I think we learn to live a new normal and just keep putting one foot in front of the other until the fog lifts and you see the sun shining again. Thankyou for your insight and understanding. I too am a widow of 9 years.

hi i'm new to this forum...cancer has been in my life all my life, with the loss of my grandmother to breast cancer at the age of 12, my mother surviving breast cancer when i was 22 and the loss of my husband to kidney cancer at the age of 35 as well as many friends also have been affected personally.
I live in the Albury-Wodonga area, I have just qualified as a Social Worker. This has come about after a long haul, but i finally got there..so there is life after cancer.
would love to chat to people who have been to hell and back too..cheers
