I am so sorry.....I know exactly how you feel.I lost 2 very close relatives after my surgery.
Maybe more people are being diagnosed,but,honestly I think it 's like when we were pregnant and every horror outcome available seemed to jump out.Honestly,there were more babies died of cot death in the 3 months b4 my first that at any time in history!!
Don't EVER feel guilty about being a survivor.

Hi all,
Guess what?5 years after being given 6wks to live,I have become a granny!!!!!!
My gorgeous grandson,Flynn Jack,was born on May 6th in Vancouver.
I am going to meet him next month....can't wait!!

helped heaps.
I'm 5and half yrs past being given 6wks to live,,,will see you on start line for city to surf this year

Wow guys,,,,I started this in 2009,can't believe we're still going!!
I am a survivor..5.5yrs,but I still worry it might come back!!
My family don't understand..I had 9hr surgery for stge3 pancreatic cancer,,but I'm sure(and it has been confirmed)that everyone thinks it was like having a mole cut off.Maybe we should vent more when we're diagnosed instead of bottling it up so as not to upset family and friends
