Hi Tarn29, If you're bleeding, then yes, you need to get it checked out. It might be haemorrhoids it might not. I'm sorry, I don't think that anyone here is going to be telling you one way or the other. Best bet is to start by making an appointment with your GP.  Discuss with her/him your concerns and symptoms I'm sure they can tell if there is a need for further investigation.   At 23 yo, chances are it's not cancer, but you never know.
