Hi Tarn29, If you're bleeding, then yes, you need to get it checked out. It might be haemorrhoids it might not. I'm sorry, I don't think that anyone here is going to be telling you one way or the other. Best bet is to start by making an appointment with your GP. Discuss with her/him your concerns and symptoms I'm sure they can tell if there is a need for further investigation. At 23 yo, chances are it's not cancer, but you never know. But either way, bleeding like that needs to be investigated. Let us know how you go. -s
