Rick, well said. I think many patients feel that way but they're afraid to express themselves. The fact that your doctor doesn't read your file prior to visiting with you borders on malpractice.

sorry to hear of your diagnosis. I have several friends who have used Proton Beam therapy with fantastic results. I know another who used hyperthermia with good results. This is your life . . . do whatever it takes. Best of luck.

I had excellent results with hyperthermia and low-dose radiation. I also us a unique form of visualization where I imagine the Pacman character going through my body and eating and destroying the tumors and cancer cells. Don't laugh, it was created by Dr. Simonton Google him! In addition, I meditate daily, and I have an 8 oz glass of water with baking soda - sodium bicarbonate. That's what I have done for years.

Hi, I am also new here. To address your concern, I am 15 years out from diagnosis and I take naps all the time. Not sure if it is because of treatment or I'm just getting old! If that's the worst of things for you, consider yourself lucky.
