I don't know your circumstances...but for me (melanoma) it was first line on the pbs to do keytruda and my lung took nearly 1 yr (16 treatments) before anything happened in my lung (and it went completely) (and about 2 yrs before it affected my head tumors)...I am in queensland. I did 2 yrs keytruda .....it got rid of 3 tumors, 2 in brain 1 in lung (3.5yrs post)....it will make you tired....my only comments would be,if you have serious side effects don't take no from your oncologist (they tend to wait until you turn up in the ER....advocate for yourself  ... View more

I did not switch half way through but, my oncologist had me on keytruda too long (ignoring obvious symptoms) which caused brain damage....so if you are not happy I would encourage you to switch....as once the damage is done you can not go back. (for me my cognitive function was impaired and I could not advocate for myself,covid keep my wife out of discussions).....I thought I should stop but was hesitant,Now I would stand up for myself,but too late.  ... great to see your still kicking,I am 59 too had melanoma tumers...not sure what RET+ is,how did they figure that out....I guess for two years on keytruda,I was napping 2-3 hours a day,after it effected my brain was more like getup coffee then back to sleep...now 3.5yrs I stay up all day but dont do much (funny enough sleeping is hard now)...might try Iron tabs,nothing to lose.... ... thats funny I had two tumors in head one in lung,craniotomy radiation then two years keytruda...cancer gone but at the end had reaction to keytruda,lots of join pain,pressure in head which lead to brain damage (balance,cognition,memory),should have stopped earlier (oncologist too inexperienced)....how are you doing now.  ...
