Hello Jem68, Great to hear from you….congratulations on your successful transfer to a new treating centre, sounds like a really positive move. I am so blessed that I was able to change treatment centres, all the staff are caring, competent, empathic folk and I feel safe and now in very competent hands. It is so important to feel “held” and “seen” especially on this very difficult cancer journey. Next week I have my 7th chemo cycle out of 12. There has been some horrible side effect challenges, and I have stopped asking myself “what next ? “. I just take life day by day, expect the unexpected and do my best to survive chemo…..it really is wretched, feels more like dying than living some days. Hi chris, I’m so sorry you are going through this. All I can say is one day at a time. Things are very up in the air at the moment so I don’t have much of an update than I’m waiting on answers regarding next steps and I have a grade III astrocytoma brain tumour ❤️

great to see your still kicking,I am 59 too had melanoma tumers...not sure what RET+ is,how did they figure that out....I guess for two years on keytruda,I was napping 2-3 hours a day,after it effected my brain was more like getup coffee then back to sleep...now 3.5yrs I stay up all day but dont do much (funny enough sleeping is hard now)...might try Iron tabs,nothing to lose....

I had keytruda for two years....it kicked the cancer, but now I have a bit of brain damage from it (should have stopped it after 2 yrs) balance issues, cognitive.......the tiredness slowly gets better,but I am not probably a very good example.

Hi new to group, I had 2 tumors in head one in chest (melanoma)...had craniotomy radiation then two years keytruda...all pretty good up to then....but at two year mark lots of pain in my head,eventually stopped treatment (oncologist was not much help)....keytruda ending up doing a bit of brain damage,balance not good,a bit simple and short/working memory shot....still pressure in my head 18mths on......anyone else had issues like this? cheers stuart
