hi Mazza,
I felt very lost after chemo finished and everyone wanted me to go back to normal. I waited far too long to have the depression that thwen occurred treated.
I reluctantly strated on anti-d's but they and counselling have been my saving grace. I am stating to come out of the pall of depression lately.
PLEASE don't leave it too long.
Take lots of care.
The next phase needs you to be careful with yourself as well.
No such thing as rambling on tis site!

Hi Mazza
I had mixed feelings after my last chemo too. I must admit, I was scared about the radiation as well. It made me very tired but I had very litte skin irritation. It is heaps better than chemo though.
It is good that you are getting support and help from your doctor and will be seeing a physcologist. I started seeing one when I finished all my treatment but could have used one while going through the treatment for some help with the way I was feeling as I was not coping at the time. Don't let others tell you either how you should feel. Just remember to be kind to yourself. Treat yourself occassionally. It may sound simple but I try to take the positives out of my day and focus on those. It can be difficult to do and not always successful but is a small way of dealing with all the negative thoughts that can come with a cancer diagnosis. Take care and stay strong. Kind regards, Willow xo
