Hi there, thankyou for your input, it helps just to not feel alone in this. I guess I just need to get on with things and think about the next step - reconstruction surgery - this is what I tell myself anyway! Still, sometimes you can't help wondering in the middle of the night, hope this will fade in time.

I think in time your fears will lessen .They may be in the back of your mind for a long ,long time but it will get easier to live with them . All the best with reconstruction .

Thanks 'Silly' I think I'm getting the hang of this blog thing down! Can't believe it took me this long to find this site, could have done with it much sooner! I'm sure you are right, I will eventually stomp out this fear of recurrence, so for now just bring on a new boob!

Love the new attitude Suzie! It takes time, but the bad thoughts gradually subside to a point where you can get on with life. My new motto is.......bring it on!,..lol
