It was my chemo today and it almost didn't happen. My liver markers up way up and they were worried that it might not cope with the chemo. For some they had increased over the past week. I can't help but wonder if diet had anything to do with it as I was a little silly over the week. Another blood test this morning showed that things were starting to come down. I was eternally thankful to hear that news. So the chemo went ahead. The only worry is now along the lines of how good my liver is. I am determined not to let things go yet. I have far too much to get done. But with my temp climbing (but still under the max I am- 38.5) over the past few hours I can't help but worry about things. To be honest, it all kind of sux big time. It's just not fair. A month ago all was good. It should be good now.

Hi, I boost my immune by beta powder and 3 drops of zinc every second day and iron tablets alternate days and now thanks to a blogger, im going to start on organic garlic once per day too....that should take care of the busybodies at work....lol. take care xo

jsb, my comments from a couple of weeks ago were not to discourage you but to prepare you. I like to observe and I observe well. So I observed what my partner went through and I've learned quick. You need to negotiate with your onco. You need to be in charge. Do not let them experiment on you because they DO NO KNOW! Not one person on this planet knows how your body is going to react to the treatment. They all can only guess. You may ask them to check your stomach lining. They will run a simple test and if a bacteria in there is causing the high temp. they will give you strong antibiotics. Eat well chosen foods. Boost your immune system with anything you can get your hands on. Do this thoroughly, methodically and persistently every day, every hour, every minute. Work on your immune system yourself. Learn how to optimise it. Learn how to boost it. Feel it, and take charge. Do it ASAP, do it now! DO not ask them (doctors) how to boos it. Boost it yourself by learning and tweaking it. There is tons of info on it on Google. Read, educate yourself and get it going.

Jules I would not go with once a day. We both take it every 3 hours. Think about it like this, when you put Barocca Performance tablets in a glass of water it starts to dissolve slowly. You want your garlic to work with you in the same manner. Why? Allicin has a half-life of 12-18 hours but your clove is gone in 2 hours. What you really want it - keep hitting it every 3 hours. Renew the source and let it stew/dissolve in your stomach slowly. When garlic gets dissolved slowly the release of allicin is continuous and you are 'firing' your ammo like a rapid fire. :) Seems very alternative but I suggest you at least think about what I just said. Garlic certainly can not harm 🙂 apart from killing everyone around you :) However, if you swallow it the smell should be minimal. And get someone join you so you stink together 🙂 And finally, be very careful with the release of gases for obvious reasons...even cancer cells would die from it if the valve is uncontrolled 🙂

Try not to be silly, as you put it, with your diet jsbach, your liver needs all the help it can get, eat and drink things that are not going to make it struggle, be kind to it and make it strong. Focus on the good things and what you want to get done. Here,s wishing for a good set of numbers on your next results wombat4

Thanks everyone. I knew I wasn't doing myself any favours. Have told myself off and have now settled back into the sensible diet I had previously.
