Now what ?

Recently diagnosed with skin cancer. I have a largish hole in my face where it has grown inwards. My doctor says it will require surgery to remove the cancer under general anaesthetic. Already been over a week waiting to hear from the hospital. Getting a bit anxious. Meanwhile the GP has me putting treatment cream on other sun spots on my face. Now I am blotchy all over my face. Grrrrrr.
