first mammogram

I had my first mammogram at the end of March.

Called into RPH for further investigation last Wednesday. Had a core biopsy done, and the results came back last Thursday.

I have a contrast enhanced mammogram on the 17th and then see the surgeon on the 24th.

Mass is 40mm and I have no idea what to expect.

Hi Colscats, sorry to hear of your diagnosis. I was diagnosed in February with non Hodgkin’s lymphoma and have just had my last chemo which has been successful at getting rid of the cancer. So it wasn’t breast cancer but I understand how frightening it can be when you first get the diagnosis. It was a very hard time but I hope you have someone to walk this journey with you. The cancer Council is so supportive and so is this forum. Ask for as much help as you need. 💜 LindaG
