I think it is childish and immature if people in the workplace cannot be sensitive to the physical difficulties of others . Some things which may be funny for some or for a few times start to annoy others if overdone so maybe that guy will find something different to amuse himself . It's good that your husband is in hospital because he is so sick and it is too much for you to deal with at home . Try and find some special times with your children for their enjoyment and yours ,getting away from all the sadness and pain . Try and find some time for yourself to rest or enjoy ,whatever you need most . As someone suggested ,perhaps someone can mind the kids to give you a break . I am sorry that you have this cancer . It looks like an extremely difficult year ahead for you and your family . You certainly have a great attitude to this. It's wonderful that the doctors are fairly confident of a cure,You are fortunate that you have good support from your family . I hope that the chemo will not be too difficult . I have no personal experience of chemo ,only radiation .
