It depends on the timing,situation,mood etc. Accept that your friend has a right to own his/her emotions. Don't try to tell the person to feel a certain way but try to share or do things you enjoted together in the past. I think everyone here should read this ,especially those who believe so wholeheartedly in alternative therapies. I'm not saying there's no place for these therapies alongside traditional medicine." Cures" and other therapies need to be investigated . There was a doctor, featured on many current affairs programmes a couple of years ago , who claimed to have cured cancer patients .He was being shown as some hero whom the medical profession ignored . Welcome to this site. I am sorry to see that you have to deal with this while you have a young child. I am a grandmother of 7 and a mother of 3 and I never went along with the idea of "the terrible twos". I especially loved, and still do, the time when kids are between 1 and 3. It didn't hurt me much as I was nearly over that but I became a bit annoyed or even a bit angry after we hung up.I think it was because I had buried the hurt and moved on and it brought it back ,not as strongly as a year or so ago.
