My thoughts are with you. I know this was not inexpected but it is still a difficult time. Your husband is now and forever pain-free. You sound like a strong woman .Now is the time to just take care of yourself. I trust you have family support as well.
On Thursday I was at the funeral of a close friend's mother. All were glad that they would not have to watch her condition deteriorate any more. It was not cancer but an illness of over 6 years which had recently greatly worsened .
