Thinking of you peanutz, such a nasty horrible disease, things seem to progress along nicely & then in the blink of an eye things begin a downward spiral my darling father didn't have GBM but I understand how rapidly this horrible disease can change so suddenly, sending thoughts your way.

I haven't been online for a while, just trying to get back into a routine since Dad passed away..... I went back to work on 14.02.12 & there are days that I struggle to get thru...I always ask Dad to give me some "sunshine" 🙂 I miss him so much... I'm staying with Mum until Saturday & then my brother arrives for a few days, I'm looking fwd to going home & sleeping im my own bed...Lol... We have another problem now, my Mum has to go for a cervical CT Scan on Tuesday, she started to find drops of blood on her undies & the Dr wants to get it looked into (Mum had a hysterectomy 10 yrs ago)poor Mum is a mess, trying to deal with loosing Dad & now this....I'm trying to keep her positive but deep inside I'm Screaming "NO Not Mum Too" I'm so afraid that something is seriously wrong & I don't know if I could cope if we get bad news.

Thankyou all for your comments,
today was hard, my brother & myself made the funeral arrangements, Mum was not emotionally stabel enough to do this, we are going to give dad a beautiful send off. During the day when I was struggling (frequently) I would close my eyes & ask my darling dad to give me strength, I miss him so much, I cannot get my head around the fact that I won't see him again. I am grateful that I had the chance to be there with dad at the end, to see him sleep comfortable without pain & struggle brought me comfort. I know dad will be around us all until the time comes for us to be together again.

After 11 months of fighting this horrible disease my beautiful, courageous & strong father passed away today at 1.15pm,surrounded by his loving family. I will miss him so very much.
My Hero, My Rock,My Father.
I will always LOVE YOU.
