Hi leemarley, I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I don't think that there is really a right or wrong time to tell people. I think there's just what is right for your situation. When I was diagnosed with cancer I first told my immediate family and then siblings and parents. I've never been particularly concerned about keeping my cancer diagnosis secret. I've been quite open about it. I discussed it with my manager and C-level executives at my work place. It's never been a problem. I guess it comes down to yourself and your personal situation.
