Hi Harker Yes i do know what you mean and also can relate to being tired and not sure if i am rambling, even though as with you i havent done so. 🙂 Ok, i am not going to admit to those times i do ramble. haha Its interesting how we all have such a commonality (cancer) and yet we are quite different in how we relate etc... I say interesting because i find it so, i love reading about how others cope and different strategies they put in place. Some of it sits right with me and sometimes it doesnt. All of it is ok and just interesting. For me going back to work is like returning to somewhere normal and yet i am still the "new me". Financial is certainly one very good reason i want to return but also because i enjoy it. I am sometimes thankful that i have had cancer. sounds strange i guess and yet like you it has motivated me to do things that i would not have done before. My goal is to return to work and then study full time (law ... have wanted to do it for years). This is a huge problem along with a few others in the system that really need fixing. The first time i was diagnosed with cancer i was offered support and told what was available. Perhaps because the system is bursting at the seams these days is having a great impact on us. Vera, you can contact a social work at your hospital or social security or any organisation that you are in contact with. They will either help you access something or point you in the right direction. The cancer council does provide services also but it helps to have some to advocate for you too. Hiya S Good luck with the anti d's ... didnt take long at all for my son to get some help from them. He has had to fiddle a bit with doseages over time and has changed tablets aswell. Now he has found one that works for him and the doseage is all good. It has allowed him to fix a couple of the things that were holding him back and he has walked forward such a lot in recent times, which is fantastic to see. Good luck with them. :) Julie xo ... Hey Missy moo It is a hard decision i find. Some of my friends that are not understanding have been friends with me for some years now and i am finding it quite difficult to have to deal with their "not being able to understand" or perhaps it is just that they dont want to understand. Either way it leaves us both with a situation ... i am not sure i can walk completely away from the friendship and i dont really want to either.
